McHappy Day Celebrity Registration

In September 2007 Link developed a new celebrity registration system for McDonalds Restaurants’ ever popular McHappy Day fundraising event.

In previous years registering celebrities for the event involved a lot of phone calls, a lot of waiting, and a lot of red tape. McDonalds sought a more streamlined approach and Link was able to deliver a system that allows agents and celebrities to log in to a secure page on the McHappy Day site, update their contact details, select their store preferences and nominate the times they’d like to attend on the day.

With up to 5000 celebrities and VIPs taking part, at around 745 McDonalds Restaurants, there is no doubt that this year the online process and allocation functions available in the backend system will make things a great deal simpler for McDonalds staff and their celebrity guests alike. This work was undertaken for the event coordinators, Professional Public Relations.
