Link Digital, Amazon Web Services and the Cloud Services Panel
After presenting at the AWS Public Sector, Education and Non-Profits Symposium in Canberra a number of our Government clients have asked how they can procure services via our listing on the Department of Finance's Cloud Services Panel.
This is done via the ICT Procurement Portal, managed by the Department of Finance, which provides agencies and entities access to the service catalogue of the whole-of-government Cloud Services Panel. Registered users have access to a range of services, including searching product and service catalogues and online quoting from Panellists.
If you are an employee of one of the following bodies you may be eligible for access:
- all entities or bodies described in the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth);
- any other body governed by the Governor-General or State Governor or by a Minister of State of the Commonwealth or a State or Territory including departments of State or Territory Governments; and
- any other body over which the Commonwealth or a State or Territory exercises control.
For more information you might like to review the Policy, Guides and Procurement information on the Department of Finance's website. This provides additional information on whole-of-government arrangements for ICT.
If eligible, you can register for the ICT Procurement Portal here.
All of Link Digital's products are listed under our company name, Link Web Services Pty Ltd.
We are listed under specialist cloud consulting services, where we are able to provide ad hoc consulting and advice to Government clients with regard to cloud migrations, security controls for environment access, general advice on developer operations and contract or cost management strategies. All of this is within the specific domain of AWS infrastructure.
We are also listed under Platform as a Service (PaaS) for our Drupal web hosting, CKAN open data portal hosting, generic LAMP stack hosting and generic Windows based hosting.
Our existing AWS Government clients include the Australian Tax Office, Department of Finance, South Australian Government, Victorian Government and Brisbane City Council.
