Link Digital worked together with Cancer Australia to implement a significantly improved user experience journey via a contemporary and updated interface for their main website, and the mini-sites for each cancer type.
To address Cancer Australia’s concerns and requirements and make the website relevant to the current user’s needs, the Link Digital team created multiple concepts for the main site and mini-sites. From there, we collaborated with Cancer Australia to refine and combine the best elements into a single concept. User experience testing feedback was taken into consideration to finalise the new look and functional changes were made to support the new design.
One of the main goals for this project was to simplify the complicated and confusing main navigation. Another priority was to improve navigation between the main site and the mini-sites. To achieve these goals, we reviewed the sites Information Architecture (IA) and applied strategic design elements via an iterative process by scrutinising it to achieve the best possible results. We also made sure that the users can access the website hassle-free no matter what type of device they use.
