Link is pleased to announce our support of the upcoming feature film Joe Cinque’s Consolation. This highly anticipated debut feature film of award winning director Sotiris Dounoukos wrapped principal photography on 13 June 2015. Link’s involvement with this production has included online consultative work with upcoming web design and development. Amongst others the project is also supported by Screen Australia and ACT Government. We are extremely proud to be involved in such sophisticated story telling and are looking forward to continuing involvement with the film.
Involvement with the arts increases our capacity to create value for Link itself and for the greater community.
Link is no stranger to working with the Arts community. Past clients have included The Canberra Theatre, The Street Theatre, the The National Portrait Gallery and Gorman House Arts Centre.
As a Digital Agency, partnering with creative pursuits is logical, undeniable even. The Arts are fundamental to our humanity and promote true prosperity but creativity is also well established as a strategic organisational value driver. Working to promote artistic ventures gives Link the opportunity to re-invigorate technical development skills within the intrinsically linked, yet more design focussed, realm of intuitive thinking, aesthetic understanding, social intelligence and creative capabilities.
We are true advocates of the benefits of business supporting the arts, not as a one off but as a going concern. Business and economic trends can be unpredictable but Artists’ contributions are unflagging, as summised so well by Harvard Business Professor Rob Austin who said, “The economy of the future will be about creating value and appropriate forms, and no one knows more about the processes for doing that than artists” (reported by Adler, 2006: 487).
