Link launches The South Australia Office for Digital Government website

Link Digital along with the South Australian Government has recently launched The South Australia Office for Digital Government website at http://digital.sa.gov.au/. The website provides resources that support South Australian Government agencies to transform services to digital, including strategies and policies which deliver digital leadership and strengthen citizen services for all South Australians.

The website is built in Drupal and runs on highly available auto scaling Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Most notably, the website makes use of taxonomies that provide the site structure and ensure that content editing tasks require little effort. Rather than having to create content and manually insert it, once content is entered it is given a classification and automatically gets published to the right section within the website.

Link Digital took an agile approach to developing the website, ensuring there were several review points that gave the client the opportunity to review our progress and allowed them to change prioritisation of features yet to be built or swap out planned features with different ones. Throughout the duration of the project, small design and consulting tasks were also undertaken when required to help refine the scope of the project.

Link Digital worked closely with the client all the way through the process to ensure each iteration was better than the last, creating value in the end product all the way up to the launch date.
